Gluten-Free Food Tours in Rome for Celiacs

Excellent food and tour Just did a gluten-free walking tour and it was fantastic. Our guide, Maurizio, was super friendly, really informative, and shared loads of interesting history about Rome and Italy along the way. Every food stop was safe, delicious, and felt really thoughtfully chosen. We’ve never done anything like this before, but it was a brilliant way to explore the city and eat confidently.

A great afternoon in Rome This was a great way to learn about the Gluten Free food scene in Rome. Maurizio, our guide, was informative, funny and helpful, the perfect companion for a tour of Rome’s eateries. If you are a coeliac coming to Rome, book this tour. Fab Gluten-free food tour in Rome I bought this gluten free food tour as a gift for my husband. Our tour was with Sara, who was great. Very knowledgeable. The food we ate was so good that we have been back to several restaurants since our tour. I would definitely recommend.

Delicious Gluten Free Experience! I got to try a lot of gluten free treats, both savory and sweet. My favorite was the pizza by the slice wrapped up for walking! The guide was great, with just the right amount of historical context in between stops. All of the food places were either dedicated gluten free or certified safe by the Italian Celiac Association. I was the only one on this tour (traveling alone in low season) and I really appreciated that they didn’t cancel on me for low enrollment. Overall I left full and happy!

Coeliacs of the world, you MUST do this tour! It offers more than just food & will be the highlight of your time in Rome Our deepest gratitude to Alessia and to our guide Sara for offering such a wonderful tour! It was so well organised, with clear instructions on how to find our guide. And luckily for us, we were the only people on the tour on this rainy Roman day, so we had Sara all to ourselves! We ate foods we had never tried before, and I was overjoyed to see my Coeliac son sampling everything offered. He can be quite unsure about trying new things (especially in restaurants), but not today. Sara instilled a sense of calm and of trust, and he was so enthusiastic to try the food (which was absolutely delicious, from start to finish. Sara also provided fascinating information about the sights of Rome during our walking tour, even making time to introduce us to one of her favourite churches - the jaw-droppingly beautiful Santa Maria sopra Minerva. At every point of the tour today, Sara made time to answer all our questions, about both the gluten free food we were eating, and Roman history and life in general. She is a truly lovely human being, and I’m so glad we met her. Sincerely once again, thank you. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone with a gluten intolerance or Coeliac Disease, and their families ❤️❤️

Great experience! We had a great experience! As a person with celiac it is often difficult to find safe options and I often miss out. This tour let me try some of the classic Italian dishes safely. Our tour guide was friendly and informative. Highly recommend!
